Networking→ Networking is an integral part of any doctoral program experience and XPL provides a strong foundation for social interfacing with a network of peers. Chi Rho Lambda assists in building networks that often prove beneficial to students when looking for internships, employment, and/or recommendations.
Philanthropy → Perhaps one of the better-kept secrets about any Greek organization is all the good that professional fraternities and sororities do. Chi Rho Lambda works hard to instill a culture of service and philanthropy. We provide pathways to involvement in some sort of community service project or philanthropic endeavor each quarter.
Identity & Skills → an XPL membership helps young women cultivate leadership skills, gain a sense of identity, and learn to collaborate with others.
FUN → We’re not all business all the time! When it comes down to it, this is one of the strongest arguments in favor of joining any sorority, professional and otherwise. If you put forward your maximum effort, the opportunities for fun are infinite. You get out what you put in. You will be surrounded by sisters and have more fun staying engaged during events, activities, and service opportunities.
